Clean Room
General Information
The Clean Room is out "catch-all" room, encompassing tools and processes that don't fit well in either the Wood Shop
or Metal Shop. Several work tables are available here to set up equipment, gather for classes or workshops, or just hang out!

Access Policy
3D Printers
- Use of the 3D printers require an orientation. Visit the 3D Printing page for details.
Laser Cutter
- Use of the Laser Cutter requires authorization by an approved instructor. Visit the Laser Cutter page for details.
Sewing Equipment
- Use of the Sewing Equipment requires authorization by an approved instructor. Visit the Sewing Equipment page for details.
Vinyl Cutter
- Use of the Cricut requires authorization by an approved instructor. Visit the Cricut page for details.
Printmaking Equipment
- Use of the Printmaking Equipment requires authorization by an approved instructor. Visit the Printmaking Equipment page for details.
All Equipment
- Equipment requiring authorization may be operated by an unauthorized user only under the direct supervision of an authorized user.
Clean Room Area Safety
- Do not use any machine you are not trained on and comfortable using. If at any time you are unsure of what you are doing, stop immediately and ask for help on Berea Makerspace slack, or email info@bereamakerspace.org.
- Do not use any machine that is not in good working order. Stop, unplug and leave a note on the machine and notify Makerspace leadership.
- Never assume a tool is properly adjusted; always check the tool prior to use.
- Never modify or hack any equipment. If you think an improvement can be made, discuss it on slack!
