Orientation

Once you have signed up to become a member of our space, you will need to go through some orientations and trainings. Our orientations have 3 goals:
- To keep you safe
- To keep the space safe
- To maintain a positive community environment
Before using the space, you will go through our New Member Orientation. This is where you will sign the necessary documents, receive a general overview of the makerspace, and get your key fob for 24/7 access to the space.
There are some regularly scheduled trainings on the calendar. To request an orientation on a different schedule, join us on Slack.
In order to use different areas of the makerspace you will need additional orientation and training:
- Wood Shop
- CNC Router
- 3D Printers
- Blacksmithing
- Welding
- Metal Shop - Not currently required
- Sewing & Textiles - Not currently required
- Vinyl & Paper Cutting - Not currently required
